Dr. Smart purchased the Northwest Dental practice a couple of years ago and I continued going even though I wasn't happy with his service since the switch over. The previous owner was one of the best dentists I had ever seen and had an excellent staff in place that remained after the sale. If it wasn't for the staff, I would have switched dentists long ago. That being said, I will sadly be moving on and will miss the staff but not Dr. Smart. His chair side manner is not good and I had a very hard time trusting him. In addition to his bad service, the office procedure costs seemed excessively expensive. The office is extremely nice and I guess I understand he needs to finance it somehow. Anyway, I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere for a dentist.
About Hygienist: Michelle, the dental hygienist at Northwest Dental is great. Too bad you'll have to interact with Dr. Smart though.
