Initially, I saw the hygienist, who was nice. She took xrays, probed my mouth with a hook that she dug way under my gums (very painful), then told me that I had periodontal disease, which would take several expensive treatments to fix (cost $800.00). She tried to sell me some kind of expensive toothbrush that cost 250 bucks.Dr. Randel consulted with me. I found him to be jovial, with a pleasant personality. He had an aggressive treatment plan consisting of whitening the lowers, and capping my upper teeth. I understood that my teeth were in bad shape, but I thought I better get a second opinion. I then found out about Doctoroogle, and looked up his name, finding 3 negative reviews complaining about his high prices, and billing procedures. I requested that Dr. Randel's office forward my xrays elsewhere. Then Dr. Randel called , inquiring as to why I decided to go elsewhere. When I told him about the negative reviews,he was surprised and I could hear him signing on his computer to look up the website. This all happened in 2005, and mysteriously, after he found out about the site, all the negative reviews disappeared, and there were positive ones...very strange. I doesn't matter now because the office sent letters stating that he died.
