This dentist totally missed a broken root. He placed a crown on the tooth and when I complained of continued pain and an inability to floss, he told me it was all in my head. I went back again and the hygienist found that cement was covering the gum and had to be drilled out. The pain continued. When I went back a second time it was the hygienist who finally caught the broken root on the x-rays. I have now been in pain for 6 months and now he's sending me to a periodontist to have an implant done at my expense.
