Dr. Hoffstein performed a "renovation" on my two front teeth, which had a gap. For about $2000, Dr. Hoffstein and his wonderful assistant Bridget suggested bleaching and then custom veneers. The process began with a very short visit (about 20 min) where a custom fitted mouthpiece was made. I bleached for about a week (wearing the mouthpiece at night.) Then I went for a longer visit where he removed the old bonding and made my natural teeth smaller (this may freak you out, no worries, the results are well worth it!) He then applied temporary bonding until the veneers were made. When the veneers came in, they were not exactly the color he wanted, so he sent me directly to the dental lab, where the technician (a genious and a true artist) hand painted the teeth until I was happy with them. The final visit was about 1 hr, where Dr Hoffstein numbed my mouth and then very carefully fitted the veneers to my teeth until the feel, placement, size, everything was completely natural and felt normal. The results are FABULOUS! Having veneers made is a a very serious consideration, as they are permanent. Choose the right doctor so you are not disappointed - Dr Hoffstein!
About Hygienist: Bridget is friendly, professional, and has a very high attention to detail. When my bleaching trays were finished, she offered to drop them off at my house because she lives in my neighborhood, and she came in for a few minutes to explain the process to me to be sure I got it right.
