This dentist did my implant crown. She also talked me into two additional crowns which I found out later from my implant surgeon, I really did not need.
There was a lot of pressure from from her to get additional procedures. I often felt she was "acting" as she tried to tell me why I should get crowns on the other side of my mouth or why I might want to consider veneers. She would shake her head, "I don't know...there may be a problem down the road because of such and such." The thing is with the exception of needing an implant, my teeth are healthy and have always looked great.
I really regret letting her talk me into having her do the additional crowns because they do not look as good as my natural teeth did. She had trouble matching the color and shape of my teeth and I'm very disappointed. The implant itself worked out fine, but it took several tries to get the color right.
She seemed a lot more about raking in the dough. Sure some day I might break a hip, but does that mean I should go ahead and get a hip replacement now? It makes no sense to get crowns because of potential future problems.
Unless you have a lot of willpower to resist the high pressure, choose someone else.
