I hadn't been to a dentist in 8 years. I went in for an adult deep clean and I needed an extraction. Dr. Stavoe was very thorough and helpful while being honest. One of my molars was cracked and needed to be extracted. I really don't like going to the dentist and requested they deep clean my full mouth instead of half at a time so I could get it done in one visit.. Dr. Stavoe let me know it would not be pleasant but they could do it. The cleaning was smooth and they had a very supportive staff working as a team. After the cleaning I asked if they could just extract my tooth right there. Dr. Stavoe took the time to do it right there and was very upfront with what to expect after the procedure as I personally cannot take narcotics. The procedure was painless, all I could feel was some pressure and it was a very difficult extraction. My mouth was soar for about 1 week which was less than the doctor prepared me for (which was nice) and they followed up 1 or 2 weeks later to pull the stitches and everything healed just fine. Dr. Stavoe always let's me know about my options but is never "pushy." I would recommend Dr. Stavoes to anyone.
