Sherry Gates was working on my teeth and got called into another room. She left her instruments on my chest. Because I had the dentistry bib on and was lying back, I couldn't see them or feel them. One fell on the floor and when I turned to pick it up, a sharp probe that she left there fell down and stabbed my hand like a dart. It went in about 1/4 of an inch and blood spurted all over the floor. It hurt like crazy. When Dr. Gates came back in and saw this, she barely apologized. It was as if her mind was somewhere else and she didn't care very much. I was so shocked that I couldn't even get angry at the time. They wrapped my hand in a kleenex and finished my teeth. Looking back, I'm furious. My advice - AVOID this dentist.
