I went in for a regular check up kind of apptmnt after not having been to the dentist in a few years. I was expecting to have to spend a good chunk of money and be told that I have a few tooth problems. I guess they keep a pretty tight schedule there bc after they took a couple of x-rays and cleaned the top row of my teeth the girl says "alright, we're all done until next time." "Next time?" "Yeah, we don't have enough time to get through the bottom row today so we'll just set you up an appntmnt for a couple weeks down the road". As I walked out to pay my $250 for a couple of x-rays and (what turns out to be) half a cleaning, which couldn't have taken more than 30-45 minutes, I expected to see a waiting room full of patients. There were none. When I called to confirm my next visit, I asked the lady on the phone if I was going to get charged again for the next visit. I was not surprised when she said that it would be at least another $92. I told her to cancel. I'm a healthy, young person, who brushes daily. Sure, I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years, but there's no way that my teeth were so grotesquely horrible/dirty that the job required 2 visits, much less 2 payments.

About Hygienist: It was actually the hygienist who did all the work on me and I don't think the problem was with her unless she made some judgment call that my teeth cleaning required separate appointments. It was most likely the dentist that made this call, because I know that girl had no other patients in the building. This is what makes me think they were taking advantage of me.

I know this doctor: months
