Although I have insurance coverage, I explained to Dr. Elam's staff that I was on a fixed income. It did not stop them from performing a $425 x-ray that was not covered by my insurance. I should have known from the 1st appointment, that lasted more than 3 hours, but forced me to miss my cleaning, their services were questionable. Now I have an outrageous bill that I will be forced to pay. Save yourself the pain in your mouth and wallet. Find another service provider.
