Dr Gaines put a filling in one of my lower front teeth. He cut my gum and could not stop the bleeding. Instead of isolating the tooth and moving the gum back like all other dentists I know, he did nothing isolate the cavity area (even though the filling extended below the gum line). The drill somehow mangled my gum so bad he said he would have to cut the gum away and remove it. All other dentist I have gone to would do anything to prevent removal of gum tissue. He didn't offer me any option he just cut it away. I now have a huge area below the tooth enamel that is totally exposed.. It is very difficult to keep the area clean and leaves the tooth exposed to potential tooh decay problems. It also looks very ugly.
Dr. Gaines put another filling in an upper front tooth. All the while he was finishing up the filling he was telling me and his assistant how beautiful the filling was. Let me tell you --- the filling is so pourly blended into my tooth that it has a deep crevaas that I have to scrub like the dickens every morning to remove the build up of food and plaque. Let me tell you -- beautiful--- it is not.
I would not recommend this so called dentist to anyone.
