Because of past experiences, I am extremely dental-phobic. I had a dentist in Houston I loved, but after moving to Austin, I decided to find one here. I visited Dr. Devine's office for a cleaning. The staff was great, but Dr. Devine said I had an old filling that was leaking and needed replacement, and that I had a new cavity. Instinct told me to go to Houston to have that work done, and my dentist there said nothing was wrong with the filling and the other spot is just a stain, not a cavity. Also, they insisted I get a flouride treatment that was not covered under insurance, but I didn't know that until later, when I received the bill.
