I cannot speak on the competence of Dr. Pape or the people in this office, but I can state that I am absolutely horrified with my and my husband’s experience at here. After very thorough X-Rays and an exam of our teeth we were told we each had no less than three sessions of fixing cavities, prior fillings, or deep cleaning. This may have been true, I am not questioning the honesty of the establishment but rather what proceeded each visit. ABSOLUTE PAIN. In the past month my husband and I had to go back at least once after each visit to get our bite aligned or sealant put on a now sensitive tooth. My husband will shoot up out of bed with tooth pain, I cannot eat on either side of my mouth, and one of my existing fillings now needs a crown.
The kicker to all this is there was no pain before we went to the dentist and Dr. Pape’s solution is to “floss more to toughen the gums” but it is our TEETH that we are having issues with. I have never been so upset with a service. My insurance has a cap on it, $1500 of which has already been used, $700 already on my credit card, and I have to pay a different dentist to try to fix whatever damage Dr. Pape has caused. Dr. Pape has yet to send my records/X-Rays to my new dentist as requested
