I went to Dr Huckin for a second opinion to see if #20 tooth can be saved which has a decay under a bridge. He suggested replacing the bridge then quickly moved to another subject stating I have bite problem. He said I have seen many dentist over the years and the crowns were not done by the same dentist, therefor they come out uneven. He then proceeded to take a full mouth x-ray which I found out later was not covered by the insurance plan (watchout!). He then stated with a professional authority that I need to replace 28 crowns (all of my crowns, bridges) with new 28 crowns. I started crying. He was such a greedy dentist. In addition, ee tried to convince me by stating that he just did 18 vaneers for a woman.wow! I was even suspicious about him. In addition to fish and bait me on additional crowns, he billed my insurance of the office exam ($98) which I paid with my check. The purpose of my visit was a second opinion on #20 and it took only 5 mins to evaluate. However, I spent over 90 mins in his office listening to his pitch of how serious my bite problem and I need to replace 28 crowns. Be aware of Dentists who take advantage innocent patients. Always seeking second opinion and don't trust just because he is a dentist.
