This Doctor is not worth the money. After my first evaluation, he said I did not need surgery. After eight months and $5,000 in treatment at the last evaluation he handed me a card to go to a consult with a surgeon...He should have known at the first appointment if my problem required surgery or not. He takes advantage of people's TMJ pain, you are desperate for some relief of this unrelenting pain. Any other dentist can make a decent splint/ mouthguard. I think he is using all those X-Rays and "so called" evaluations for his own benefit (studies etc...) and is charging the patient for this.
I do not recommend you spent this amount of money in his treatment, it doesn't work for persons that have a bad case of TMJ. This doctor should have known from the first appointment and not take the $5000 from me convincing me that I would improve. I did not.
