I don't know much about Dr. H (never got to meet him, read on), but his office staff is severely lacking in professionalism and human compassion. I took my then 7 year old daughter to see Dr. Halbardier to have some fillings put in. She was very anxious and wanted me to sit with her and hold her hand while they attempted to prep with novacaine shots and gas. I did so for a few seconds until she became even more anxious and start to cry. When she was excessively crying, 2 members of Dr. Halbardier's office staff came and grabbed me by the elbows and ushered me out of the room telling me that I could no longer stay with my daughter. In disbelief I stood there, now outside in the lobby, not knowing what to do and not really understanding what had just happened. I had decided that I was going to go back in despite the fact that they just kicked me out and demand that they let me try to calm my daughter, but it was too late. About that time, my daughter came out into the lobby too, calming down after heavy sobbing. The office staff told me that they could not work on her and that we needed to find another dentist. She is now 10 and a half and I am pretty sure we will never forget the trauma that we endured that day.
