I had a dislocated jaw with a large hematoma (blood clot) impeding the proper repositioning of the jaw. I have had this condition (TMD) around ten years, but this was the wost dislocation I have suffered and indeed, Dr. Harkin commented it was one of the worst he had seen. I arrived at his office after having seen three other dentists/ doctors including Dr. Andrew Weils personal dentist who was only able to give me slight relief within the limits of his practice. And two emergency room visits. Dr. Harkin and his staff completely rehabilitated my jaw.They made special appliances to keep it from happening again. They were the only office out of around eight other offices spanning five states and ten years to offer me a viable solution. They were VERY compassionate and fair.
