1st I want to say that I NEVER recommend a dentist, I've had such horror stories I can tell you about MANY/ALL I've seen, the last being when pulling a tooth, even though in the X-ray you could CLEARLY see the nerve sitting on the tooth, he pulled it against my wishes (wisdom teeth) even though I had no problems with it and was not impacted.Now I have NERVE damage! I've also had a dentist use IV sedation and almost KILL me because he didnt know how to do it correctly... Also, for YEARS I've told EVERY dentist that even though they have given me up to 4 shots to numb my teeth, Ive felt EVERYthing and they said I was lying:come to find out Im one of those VERY few who's nerves are set differently in the mouth so you need to numb in a different area...
When I went to Dr. Svetlik, he was AWESOME, He actually listened to me and didnt assume that I was making up the nerve thing, (he actually heard of it) and made sure that I was numb before starting anything, even used a special anesthetic to be sure. For the VERY 1st time in my life, I've had a GREAT, PLEASANT experience!! I now go to him and don't put off having teeth work done (trust me, its PLENTY thanks to the others) He's AWESOME!!!!!
