Dr. Nix has a gentle and calm demeanor, and he takes time to explain everything you need to know about the cause of your condition and the proposed treatment. He is careful to explain every option. The work he has done for me has always been top-notch. His staff is pleasant, and while the facilities are okay, the technology used there is state of the art. Everything, including the doctor's notes, is digital. I don't know for a fact that his prices are high, but I suspect so; in fact, I'm going for a second opinion about something next week for that very reason - just to check since I don't have any frame of reference for the proposed procedure (implants). One negative comment I have is that I was never informed that they are not part of my insurance carrier's network. I found out only by chance. I should have asked about this up front, but when I neglected to do that, I believe they should have told me; especially when there have been several opportune moments to do so, such as instances when I asked why I was paying more than my copay for something. Overall, I have a good opinion of Dr. Nix, but I do have some reservations.
