Dr. Coston is an extremely good man. He is far from greedy.
Basically he is a one man operation belonging to no group although his services compete well with dental groups. His fees may seem high to the average person, but I paid double in California for what he charges. If you want to give him extra credit for customer service because he is alone in his practice, add a star. He and his staff are very cooperative and he has exuded neither pain nor anxiety nor a poor chair-side manner. If he cannot give you service immediately for emergency or other reasons, he will refer you to another colleague whom will be able to treat you. He took me on a moment's notice recently because I broke a cap. He does not honor secondary insurance; thus, you will need to handle that yourself which is no big deal. However, his office sends out bills on a monthly basis until the balance is paid. He will work out a plan for payment if you are having financial difficulties.
The front desk and office staff have been dense in the past, but that has improved over time. Remember that malpractice and overhead expenses play a role in all health providers' fees. Be patient because the health field is not as lucrative as once upon a time.
