If you are looking for a great dentist, this is your guy. Make sure you know your insurance inside & out; do NOT rely on the office staff for any 'heads up' . I faxed my insurance information and copy of card to staff at the beginning of year. There was no phone call, no indication that this office did not accept my new insurance until my balance was astronomical. NO mention of balance was brought up, but always very eager to book the next appointment. When I asked 'what portion did the insurance cover?', that's when I was informed they did not accept my current insurance. All medical facilities I've previously dealt with, whether hospitals or private practice, would tell me up front if they did not accept my insurance. This office has taught me my lesson. I felt tricked. If you are accustomed to trusting the staff to let you know up front if there are any problems coverage/financial wise, this staff will provide you with a wake-up call. Yes, I accept ultimate responsibility. I took out a loan to pay my debt. Just don't want others to end up in my boat. Bottom line: he's a great dentist, but make sure you have a firm grasp of your financial & insurance BEFORE booking that follow-up.
