Dr. Aten and her staff are VERY good at helping anxious or fearful dental patients-they are especially kind, gentle and sympathetic to those who've had negative dental experiences in the past. Their small office is clean and well maintained and staffed by long time employees....a very efficient Receptonist/Office manager and skilled, personable hygienists. I highly recommend Dr Aten to everyone and wish that I'd had such a wonderful dentist when I was younger. I no longer have to suffer with stress and anxiety before dental appointments because I know she will take care of me with as little pain and trauma as possible.( without making feel like a big whiny baby!) They take their time and really go out of their way to make patients comfortable, which is very rare these days. If you want a high-tech office with a plasma TV on the ceiling or pedicure/ massage while you get your teeth filled...... this is not the place for you. But-if you are looking for an nice, caring family dentist and personal, friendly service, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
