Dr. Kellogg does a great deal of patient education, so if you are the kind of person who likes to know why dentists do things the way they do, this is the right dentist for you. He is always willing to explain what is going on, as well as the long-term implications of the choices available. He tries very hard to eliminate the almost automatic "guilt" that his patients feel about their care of their teeth (or lack thereof), which helps patients feel comfortable returning for future work -- especially good for grimy teenagers whose dental hygiene is less than satisfactory. My kids don't seem to mind going to the dentist at all. His office staff has been very accomodating of our scheduling needs.
