Dr. Shirley is VERY knowledgeable and well respected throughout the country. He does a great job of explaining procedures and his work is first rate. The staff are very nice overall, but I've had problems with the staff taking care of insurance forms. I adminttedly had multiple carriers to deal with, but after a detailed explanation on three occasions, the forms were still misfiled (to the wrong carriers) and they told me we will have to make all the corrections and deal with the insurance carriers directly moving forward. Dr. Shirley is out of network for all my carriers and is very expensive, but I'm willing to pay for great care. I'm not willing to pay a high price, however, AND do all my own insurance forms and follow-up with the insurance companies. My time is also valuable.
