TERRIBLE! Dr. Hoang came highly recommended from several friends of mine who had seen him for simple procedures. He performed a root canal, which went very well, but then came the ordeal of having a temporary crown put in. This should be a painless and bloodless procedure, but resulted in 2 trips to the Emergency Room within 4 days. Dr. Hoang was anything but helpful and continually tried to blame the massive blood loss through my mouth on a "coagulation problem"...which he continued to insist on even after I'd had full blood-work done which indicated I was perfectly healthy. Incredibly enough, the problem eventually turned out to be improperly done work on his part. After my 1st ER trip, Dr. Hoang spent less than a minute examining my mouth when I walked into his office later that morning. One of the worst parts of dealing with Dr. Hoang was him being less than thruthful. This was frequent, but most evident after my 2nd trip to the ER - when after having sat next to the ER Dr. while he explained to Dr. Hoang that I was perfectly healthy, I later listened to Dr. Hoang try to tell a family member assisting me that the ER had determined I had a blood disorder which was causing the problem.
