I have always received excellent normal cleanings and such, and his admins are relatively competent and nice to talk with. Relative is the operative word, because I find ALL medical admins are incompetent to a certain degree in regard to billing and bookkeeping.
Caveat:
Watch out for their practice of having the patient overpay for cosmetic work in advance of insurance claim reimbursement, which they received only 3 weeks later! They enjoyed 3 months of interest on my overpayment before they told me I was due a refund. That happened to another friend of ours, too, so apparently there's a pattern here. If you are asked to pay in advance to help with his cashflow, keep an eye on your insurer on the status of the claim.
Also, his work on composites to fill gaps in my smile was not as good as photos of his work on display in his office. I asked him to redo them at my expense and he declined, saying he couldn't do any better. So I'm going to see another dentist for that. But he's still one of the better dentists I've had in my lifetime.
