Never been treated so awful by a dental "professional" before. the first visit was 'pleasant', but when I started asking more questions about the cost that's when everything started going downhill. when looking over my treatment plan they sent home with me, I called back asking questions about time-line and cost and the front desk staff said the dentist would not go over plans over the phone and told me to come in. so when I came in (at my scheduled time), Dr. Kazerooni's first words to me were, "What are you doing here?". I told her I came in to go over my treatment options. (I have cosmetic work and TMJ work. the TMJ symptoms (migraines, insomnia, etc) are keeping me from being productive at work and in life, which I feel are very impt. But I need to budget my money over the course of the next few years). she looked at me with disgust and looked at her staff and said some more nasty comments about not wanting to do the full work on me b/c I can't afford it and to not go over any more options with me. I only wanted a time-line and expense sheet; I feel like my overall health is the most impt concern. but her concern is not about helping patients - her only concern is that we put $$ in her pocket and not ask ANY quest!

About Front Desk: very helpful when they think you're gonna spend all your money there. They're very pushy to get you to get in quick and not think about cost. Once you start thinking about cost and asking questions, it's all downhill. but I don't know if it's the front desk staff or Dr. Kazerooni influencing them. Because the front desk staff was silent during my 2nd visit when Dr. Kazerooni chewed her out for trying to help me.
