Horrible experience. Dr. Cheng gave no explanation before procedure was to be done. She showed impatience and a lack of empathy for the patient. I explained to her that I had allergies, and requested to sit up as much as possible during the long procedure. She said ok, raised the chair, then lowered it again. She numbed me and then started to stick rags in my mouth. This caused me to cough and she said I needed to breathe through my nose and this needed to be done because a lot of water would be going down my throat. I am naturally uneasy about going to the dentist to begin with, and when no other explanation than this was given while rags were being stuck in my mouth, this inevitably made me start to panic and choke even more. She then got visibly frustrated, took out the rags, told me I need to "see a doctor," and walked out. There was no expression of sympathy, or at the very least explanation of the next steps. I'm never going back--she is extremely unprofessional. She has no basic understanding of a patient dentist relationship or that part of dentistry is also keeping the patient informed. Her assistant knew more about how to treat patients than this doctor, and at least spoke with me sympathetically.
