Every visit he will try to find something wrong with your gums or teeth. I had periodontal cleaning 3 years ago and after the treatment, I got a clean bill of health for my gums from him. My last visit, 6 months ago, he was asking me if I ever got periodontal cleaning. I asked him why. He stated well, your gums could look better. I stated that my gums are fine, healthy and they never bleed. I do not need gum treatment. Besides I had this done 3 years ago. He proceeded to finish the exam in silence. He forgot that last year he made the same comment. And the year before that my back tooth was suppose to need capping. And the year before that a front tooth needed a cavity. I did not do any of those procedures and now he does not even bring them up. By the way, I did get a second opinion about my teeth. Got a clean bill of health! So is Dr. Kahan greedy? Or did my teeth heal themselves? You decide.
