Very bad experience with this dentist. I was told I should replace some fillings w/ crowns that were literally TWICE as expensive as the ones I already had (that were only a couple of years old) -$1600 for each CROWN? Then a botched filling replacement became a root canal that i had to see specialist to get fixed after literally TWO MONTHS of agonizing pain and two trips back to the dentist. this was the worst dental experience EVER, but to make it even more terrible? In the three months I tried getting a hold of the dentist via office phone, cell phone (which he gave me) and stop-in he avoided simply talking about my balance, which was suddenly over $1200 more than my treatment plans and payments (I paid cash at each visit), which was already north of $6800 at this point, plus the $1800 I had to pay the specialist to fix my 'filling replacement'. I was very calm and even said in my messages I just wanted to verify that there wasn't a mistake since I paid my balance at the end of each appointment but guess what? He sent me to collections. That's right -avoided all contact for several months, even after I said I'd pay if he was sure it wasn't a mistake, and then instead of just calling me back he sent me to collections.

About Hygienist: great hygienist and front desk staff -dr. johns has a lot to learn about both the business side and professional side of patient care. And maybe not gouge new patients. Plus I never got my free tooth whitening!!!!
