I am an engineer. I was refered to Dr. Snyder by a former dentist-turned-engineer dental colleague of Dr. Snyder's. It was a great recommendation. Dr. Snyder is a straight forward, honest, communicator. He explains what is going on, what needs to happen, and the trade-offs for your options. He is conservative in his recommendations, providing the best, necessary care. He is knowledgable, very experienced and keeps up with leading technology in the industry - and is discriminating in its adoption in his practice. His procedures on my teeth have been done quickly and competently - leaving me somehow with a sense of confidence and comfort when he is doing the work. His personality may come across a little abrasively to some, but I see it as having a subtle/dry sense of humor. On Cost - its hard to comment given reasonable dental insurance, as I don't pay any excess costs. I do believe his conservative approach is the right mix for all involved (patient/doctor/insurance). My prior dentist was a "cosmetic dentistry" specialist that tried to push braces, teeth whitening, and crown treatments every visit... and REALLY my teeth aren't out of a horror movie.
