I arrived to find no assistants in his office. Just him and one receptionist. It was for a complete evaluation, first time, complete x-rays, and a cleaning. Dr. Bagdasarov fumbled around wtih the x-ray machine, and seemed to not know exactly how to maneuver it effectively. Placing the bite-wing holders in my mouth was more painful than what I was accustomed to. He seemed stressed, and that behaviour made me apprehensive. When we got to the evaluation, checking the depth of each tooth, etc., it was more painful, again, than other dentists I had been to over many years. The cleaning went fairly well, but, once again, more gum pain than usual. I hadn't gone to the dentist in about 18 months, to be honest, so the gums were rather sensitive. Still, I've gone longer than that, and had a more comfortable time with other dentists. Afterwards, the receptionist informed me that they refused to take a personal check, which surprised me. I used a debit card, but didn't receive an invoice then or later for the services rendered or the dental plan written. I decided not to go back. The work was done under the Careington discount plan, so it didn't cost much. However, the savings didn't offset the fact that I wasted money, time, and it HURT.
