When I first went to Dr. Winskill I really liked him, as a child I had an abusive dentist that really traumatized me and left me full of anxiety when I would go to the dentist. He seemed like a great dentist, but slowly my opinion has change. It started around the time he forgot to check if I was completely numb before he started drilling. Didn't even bother to press with one of his pokey tools. I did not want to go back to him since then, but I had an extremely bad tooth ache. I would have rather given birth than go through this agony is all I can say about that, I feel like that is an understatement. Clearly I am in pain when I go there, I was cringing at every heartbeat and my knuckle were completely white. I even mention I was in severe pain. He sent me back to the waiting room in agony and then told me I had an appointment for a root canal hours away. I had to beg him to numb the tooth, because he didn't realize I was in pain. A good doctor should see the signs of pain and listen to when the patient says they would rather get shot then feel this pain.
