Dr. Quandt's chairside manner is unprofessional and insensitive to the patient's needs. He does not actually listen to you or care about your concerns. He had bonded my two lower front teeth three months ago because they got chipped. The bonding had worn away and I could feel the uncomfortable edges again. I wanted to know if more bonding should be put on. He strayed away from the topic and started scraping at my teeth without my consent. I asked him if we could just discuss how to rectify this situation, but all he said was that the bonding didn't come off, part of my tooth did instead. The bonding was on top of my teeth; the before and after pictures of my teeth clearly indicated that some of the bonding had come off, not my tooth. He then told me that my teeth were so fragile that they were like bonding onto "quicksand" and that the only thing he could do was to shave my teeth down! (My last dentist, who just retired said that I had some of the healthiest and strongest teeth that he has seen.) When he first bonded my teeth he said that my teeth were even stronger than before and that this bonding would last forever. Dr. Quandt acted defensively and rudely towards me and he obviously did not want to stand behind his work.
