I have to be careful what I say here to avoid a defamation charge, but in my opinion Dr. Yacaman should be out of business. She insisted I needed an emergency root canal on a tooth and insisted on performing it even though it had been bothering me mildly for years and I knew the tooth could not be numbed without i.v. sedation. She promised me it would end the pain in that tooth. She gave me her "magic cocktail" (her words) and a vicodin. Her cocktail, I later discovered, consisted of children's benadryl and a prescription her own dentist had given her, poured out of her bottle. She only stopped when I started screaming. She then scheduled a root canal under anesthesia, but couldn't complete it at one sitting. I had to have another doctor (at full charge) finish it. All she does is talk when you are there.
