As a little girl in Tucson I had several surgeries performed by Dr. TOONE. I remember him screaming at me. I remember waiting for one of my surgical appointments and being able to see into another room where he was operating on an older boy. I could hear Dr. Toone screaming at his nurse. The door to the room was gradually opening wider. One of the boy's legs was hanging off of the chair. Dr. Toone kicked at the boy's ankle repeatedly in an effort to get the boy's leg back on the chair. While doing this the doctor was screaming and growling. Then he saw me. He kicked a trash can against the wall. An assisstant or nurse then shut the door. This was in the mid 1980's.
My memories of this man were similar to many other Tucsonan's that I spoke with when I got older I am shocked to hear he is still practising.
