All I can say is thanks. After dealing with this bridge that came off almost monthly for the last year, I finally decided to get something done. I saw Dr. Bohannan and really liked his approach despite giving me bad news. He told me my bone was too thin to accept implants as the teeth in the area were removed 20 plus years ago. So he had to take bone from my jaw and move it to where the implants were going to be placed. He described everything perfectly and I spent a lot of time on his website www.sanmateodentalimplants.com and was well informed. I decided to proceed. It went exactly as he described. I was pretty sore for 3 days then things turned around quickly. After 6 months he placed three implants and about 4 months later they were restored and they look and function great. Catherine at the office really went the extra mile to get my insurance to pay as much as they would (they initially denied everything). Everyone is nice, the office is cozy and the doctor is very smart, caring and gentle despite having a lot of muscles !!
I am going to recommend him to anyone needing any oral surgery or dental implants.
