Dr. Baird came across as a very knowledgeable, competent doctor, who explained the procedure thoroughly. He extracted all four of my wisdom teeth -- my very first extraction of teeth! -- without any complications occuring, minimal post-extraction pain, and 100% healing. There was no swelling whatsoever on the cheeks, no numbness, nothing that signified wisdom teeth surgery on the day after.
Besides the wisdom teeth extraction, I also got a molar pulled out, during which time I had local anesthesia only. But that was a perfectly smooth event also, all the more remarkable because I have always been paranoid about visiting dentists before.
Since he does this day in and day out, you can be assured of being in good hands. I know several people that go to him for their own and their children's surgeries, and my own dentist recommends him highly as well.
The office is spotlessly clean, with all "scary" equipment covered up (what a thoughtful gesture!), but not fancy or glitzy (who needs that anyway?).
All in all, a top notch experience with very efficient staff, clear post-operative instructions with extra gauze and mouth cleansers, and courtesy phone calls to find out how the patient is faring.
