Dr. Burns extracted 4 wisdom teeth. I had a good measure of discomfort for a week after the surgery and needed pain medicine the entire week. It has been a year now and I never regained sensitivity in the lower quandrant of my mouth wherein he struck a nerve while removing one of my lower wisdom teeth. Numerous follow ups with his office to address this problem were unsatisfactory. I also found his dental assistant condescending and patronizing in discussions and observations about my concern. During follow-up visits, I got the distinct sense that he and his assistant were attempting to deflect attention from his inferior surgical results and onto me as a patient attempting to receive some financial gain which I had no interest in. I simply wanted full use of my entire mouth area as I had before the surgery. I would not recommend him as an oral surgeon.
