After having all my teeth removed and getting posts inserted into my jaws with some complications I thought my ordeal was almost over. Then after having my dentures fitted with the receptacles for the posts in my jaws I encountered a problem. My gums on one section had receded down to where they did not meet the dentures so the would wobble and come loose when eating or even drinking. I listened while my dentist called mr gagnons office and explained what the problem was and felt that mr gagnon should take a look at the area before my dentist started adjusting the lining on my denture. So an appointment was made and I sat in the patient chair. mr gagnon took a quick look in my mouth and asked what was the problem. I explained the problem and he said well what are you doing here then. I said well the dentist had called to explain the problem and "your office agreed that I should come in for a consult". mr gagnon got all huffy and said, "I am a Dr, I don't answer phones", while pointing to his coat with the embroidered office logo with his name! I said with this being the third or fourth time his office claimed ignorance as to why I was there and they should have dentist offices and surgeons offices in the same building. He replied, "Well if that is your attitude then our association is over. I was only here as a courtesy" at that point he got up and walked out of the room! Mind you, I dropped a huge amount of money at his office in the previous year. So don't expect any "aftercare", civility, or cooperation with your regular dentist. I would not recommend him to anyone. I wish I had searched around for more patient reviews.
About Front Desk: great, it is the dr that needs an attitude adjustment!
