Dr. Esbah-Tabaie, at Merrimack Valley Oral Surgeons, removed my wisdom teeth. The procedure apparently went smoothly, and Dr. Esbah is quite friendly. The problem lies with the staff: they dismissed my (reasonable) questions about how my procedure went, and what could happen if anything went wrong. Going into the procedure, I had very little idea of what to expect.
On the day of surgery, Dr. Esbah came into my surgery room (an hour late), and as I was asking a couple of last-minute questions, one of the technichians walked behind my chair and suddenly gave me the anestesthia, giving me no warning and saying only, "Good Night"! Post-op, when I tried to ask how the procedure went, I was given cookie-cutter answers that the procedure went fine. I had to return to the office days later to have someone actually look at my file and tell me how the procedure went.
My procedure was a success, but I was anxious about it, and Dr. Esbah's staff only added to my anxiety. If you want to be treated respectfully (and like a customer paying a lot of money), do not go to Merrimack Valley Oral Surgeons.
