It was as if he wanted me to experience as much bone crushing pain as posible. He seemed to enjoy my suffering. I will never forget the look of disgust in Merlo's eyes when I complained about the excruciating pain. I felt vulnerable. I felt less than human. Cadavers should be treated with more dignity and respect.
