I had my wisdom tooth out when I was 17 yrs. old. When I went for my consult, the assistant didn't know her right from her left on the panoramic x-ray ( even though it's labeled) and the office didn't have me down for the surgery the next day at 9am. Instead, they said I could come in at 7am and they would fit me in. I went back for my one week evaluation and Dr. Brunsoman asked if I'd been using the suringe they had given me to keep the area clean. I said that you never gave me one. Dr. Brunsoman "cleaned" out the area and said I was ready to go. Later that afternoon, my cheek got swollen and I was in extreme pain. I called the dentist and he perscribed an antibiotic. I was up all night in pain and I would never go back there again because he also does plastic surgery and apparently my wisdom tooth was nothing compared to what he could have been doing at that time. I later realized that when they "cleaned" out the socket, they actually dislodged the clot and gave me a dry socket.
