Last Wednesday (three days ago) Dr.Lawrenz did my jaw-surgery. He moved my lower-jaw back by around 5 mm and toward the right by 1mm. I'm 45 years old and was extremely scared before the surgery. I have to say that not only Dr. Lawrenz's great reputation but also his warm personality have convinced me to go ahead.
The Surgery was a great success. After I woke up in the recovery room, I could talk right away and feel no pain at all. I could also feel my teeth, gum and chin. During the surgery, he didn't even see the nerve, let alone bruising it which is common in this surgery. The first day wasn't pleasent due to the anathesia. In the second day, after I returned home, I gained back most of my strength aleady. So I walked around the block once and feel like doing more which I didn't. Initially my face was swollen. But now in the third day, swelling on my face had gone done about 40%. Yesterday I started eating rice by swallowing after mixing it with the soup. I love my new bite.
