I am male, 32 yo.
I had one wisdom tooth removed. It was about 280. I also chose to have the laughing gas which was an extra 95. My insurance paid most of it, however the gas is generally not covered so I had to pay for that myself.
My tooth was exposed and it was a simple extraction. The procedure was not painful, however the recovery time was longer than they led me to believe. There was some bleeding for about 24 - 36 hours and it took about 10 days before I was comfortable eating hard food again. I was given prescription pain medication so there was no pain, but I had no social life for 2 weeks.
It is an older office and building, but everything was clean. I chose this office because I could walk there from my job.
I did a few web searches on Dr. Sutley before my visit. I wanted to see if any other people had posted information. I really was unable to find much except his education, what dental offices he is affiliated with, and a few political contributions he made. The state of minnesota maintains a website that lists all dentists which have received reprimands or suspensions. Sutley did not show up on that list.
Overall it was a good experience. If I needed more work done I be comfortable going back to him.
