My wife broke her jaw and had surgery 2 1/2 days ago with Dr. Glyman. His beside manner left a lot to be desired. He spent a whole 5 minutes with us and talked very quickly. Since he has been doing this for some time, I am sure he understands what it is he is talking about but he needs to spend more time with his patients and slow down. Required paperwork that was given directly to him was lost. It had to be reproduced by my wife after she returned to work. After surgery he met me in the hallway and updated me on the surgery and wife's condition. Again, he spoke in a very rapid manor. He said he prescribed her a pain medicine which I informed him would not work for her. He prescribed it anyway and low and behold, it didn't work. My wife suffered through the night and called his office the next morning for a different rx. The staff said they would look into it and return her call. 5 hrs later, still no call so I ended up going to the office personally and waiting an additional 45 minutes for a minute of his time. This was also when I found out her paperwork was lost. In my opinion, glowing reviews do not allows tell the story and sometimes you need to go with your gut instinct. No cost estimate yet so no comment.
