Dr Neugarten performed my orthognathic surgery two years ago to stunning effect. He is perfect at his craft. Two minutes after first seeing me, he suggested the surgical choice I, too, thought best, and which other surgeons had refused to take into account (correcting my underbite by advancing the upper jaw instead of making my "prominent" lower jaw smaller). It worked out wonderfully. You will know the minute you walk into his office that he is an ambitious surgeon whom you can trust completely. He may seem a tad impatient on occasion, but that should not matter to anyone more than the results he achieves. The surgery went extremely well (it's not a joyride by any measure, but I felt safe throughout). My recovery was rapid, with virtually no bruising. The results are absolutely superb, functionally and esthetically. His office also helped with insurance filing and alleviated non-covered expenses, which can be considerable for this type of procedure. Excellent in every way. Thank you, Dr N.
