Dr. Woodward is just OK. He's a nice guy, but I have concerns about his skill. Because my 100% paid dental insurance was ending soon, I had him replace several fillings. I had to return to his office TWICE because of comfort and fit issues and the problem still persists today--one year later. I've never encountered this type of problem with any other dentist. My husband also had issues with a crown that had to be redone because he didn't do it properly the first time. The Hygenist is very good, but the staff has always been disorganized and lack follow through--don't return calls, billing issues, etc. Because his hygenist is good, I also asked the dentist if he would be willing to continue to provide service to me after I did not have dental insurance. I would pay him the same amount he had billed me for services in the past, based on my insurance coverage, except I personally would be paying the entire bill. He refused, wanting to charge me MORE (open rate) than in the past, now that I was not affiliated with a dental insurance company. I guess business is so good, he doesn't need me. He actually lost 3 clients--my husband, daughter and me.
