I just had my wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Forde a few days ago. I am a pretty anxious person, so I guess I would have liked a better explanation of the procedure as he did it-- since I was awake for the whole thing. One thing that kind of irked me in terms of business was that at one point he & a few members of his staff were discussing something political, and being of a different party than they, I felt uncomfortable. It seemed unprofessional to me. I also feel that some questions I have thought of since leaving could have been included in the paper, but that's just my own preference. Consultation was okay too. He was friendlier at the consultation; didn't say much to me on surgery day. Answered questions without issue. Surgery went okay I guess. I was feeling the last of the 4 teeth coming out though. Was squirming a bit and probably made some sort of OW type noise, and they didn't do anything. Kept going to get it done. That one definitely hurt the worst. Others were fine. I also did like that he called to check in on me later in the day. That was nice. Going on day 3, still swelled & agitated at the swelling. Not sure if I'm getting dry socket or not, otherwise I'll have to be in again.

About Front Desk: They were alright. They weren't really mean, but they weren't the sweetest & nicest people either. The one assistant (skinny with light colored hair) was very sweet and helpful, though. Had her for my consultation & she is who talked to us post-surgery. She was probably my favorite of all the staff. Front desk lady just didn't seem like a people person.
