When I left the office for the last time, Dr. Leon Assael had told me that I should just live with the pain. A pain that is intermittent, but gets so intense that I can't turn my head, don't want to talk and certainly couldn't eat. To me, this isn't something that is livable.
He doesn't "believe" in gaurd device, and would rather medicate patients instead. (Those were his words.) Well, I don't like taking lots of medication, and if a device will help me keep from grinding my teeth to oblivion and agrivating my jaw, I'm all for it. One further note, now that I'm pregnant, I couldn't take the medication anyway.
Everyone else in the office was very nice.
In the end, if you want surgery, and lots of drugs...he's your guy.
