Dr. Urick is great -- very cheerful, nice, and professional. He is always a pleasure to be around, which is hard to come by in a dentist. He does fabulous work, and is very thorough.
His staff is less than fanatstic. In all fairness, I really like his assistants, and hygenist -- all of the people who work in the back are wonderful! But he SERIOUSLY needs to "upgrade" his front office staff.
I've had billing questions a number of times and talking to Susan is akin to banging your head against a wall. There are a ton of excuses, and no answers. I suppose this is good for Dr. Urick's collection of payment; however, it has been SO terribly frustrating, demoralizing, and anxiety-making that I will never return to this dental office. If you can afford to pay in full, or know the ins-and-outs of your insurance plan, perhaps it's worth it to drive into the city, pay for parking, wait around for up to an hour past your original appointment time, and then receive a bill for twice as much as your "estimated amount" out of the blue, months after the original work.
Not for me.
